Prepare filter coffee correctly

Grandma: something to drink? Coffee maybe?
You might be thinking: This coffee is at least 6 hours old and your grandma made the coffee a while ago when she was waiting for you … Now you say:

“Yes, please!”
Because this time Grandma read our Brew Guide! So are you ready to be surprised? Filter coffee will never be the same again!

NOTE: The filter coffee machines only maintain one temperature. Usually this is too high to preserve the fine aromas of top-quality coffees. We therefore recommend that you do not use super fruity or strongly sour coffees, as these are very difficult to combine with these machines.

1. Moisten the coffee filter and insert it. Grind your coffee just before you use it. This ensures that the coffee is fresh and gives off aromas and oils in the best possible way.

4 cups: 30 g
6 cups: 45 g
8 cups: 60 g
10 cups: 75 g

The coffee should be as coarse as sea salt.

3. Use 1 liter of water to brew 8 cups. Pour this into the water tank. (150 ml per cup)

4 cups: 500 ml
6 cups: 750 ml
8 cups: 1000 ml
10 cups: 1250 ml

4. Preheat the coffee pot with boiling water and then place it under the filter.

5. Put the coffee grounds into the filter and press the start / on button.

6. Wait until the filter has completely stopped dripping.
